The Epilar® System works on the hair follicles that are left empty after the waxing, specifically on hairs that are active and in the growth phase. The procedure consists of waxing your hair (just the regular wax) and the two gels (Growth Inhibitor and then the Activator) will be gently massaged into the skin right after the waxing.

What to expect from the Epilar System?

Most Epilar® System users will notice that the re-growth time will be doubled and the number of hairs reduced at least 20% by each treatment. For best results, 8-12 treatments are recommended depending
on the area of the body treated.
The procedure will also reduce pain in connection with waxing, increase the intervals for depilation and leaves skin smooth and soft between treatments.

Tips for best waxing service before the Epilar Treatment:

1. Don't shave.
2. Use exfoliants like scrubs, bath gloves or exfoliating wash cloths.
3. Avoid sun or tanning bed exposure the day before and after having a wax, even if it's just the lip or brows!
4. Don't take aspirin, Motrin, Aleve, Advil, ibuprofen, Naproxen or anti-inflamatories the day before. Use Tylenol if you need pain control.
5. Avoid alcohol for 24 hours before.
6. Don't shower or bathe in a hot water the day before & after.
7. Avoid waxing if you are: Diabetic, taking or have taken Accutane, using Retin-A, Differin or Renova.
   
   (Waxing can cause scarring, severe wounds and lead to bad infections).
